• Rise Fall 2008 Application NOW available. Calling all high school aged girls in Frisco! Live, learn and lead a healthy life style in Oasis' life skills education program. Join up to 20 other girls from throughout the city to learn about the power of being a girl, self defense, standing up for yourself, planning for your future, staying strong and much, much more.

• Girl 2 Girl goes to Francisco Middle School this fall! Check out this amazing after-school theater and life skills program for 8th grade young women at Francisco. Girl 2 Girl young women will learn theater to explore themes like cultural diversity, community, self-esteem, homophobia, health & sexuality, sisterhood and immigration--topics that came up from the girls at our sister, neighborhood middle school at Bessie. Oasis will be at Bessie in the spring. Girl 2 Girl ends with a final performance in January 2009!
  

• Measure Up Kicks Off in September! A new youth staff crew has been hired to lead a community assessment to measure how we are keeping true to the values and needs of girls and young women from throughout the city. Our current youth staff, Jah Torri and Maddy are joined by returning girls--Amani, May, Cheriee and Fio.
